Measure the smallest pitch difference you can distinguish.
Before you begin
Use headphones in a quiet place at a comfortable volume. Each trial plays two tones once. Choose which tone was higher pitched—Tone 1 or Tone 2—then start the next trial when ready. The difference adapts to your answers. Do not change the volume during the test.
